Spot is our new office in the centre of Palma. It is not a traditional workspace, but a meeting point that reflects who we are and how we understand design, construction and local culture. After years designing and building for others —stores, restaurants, hotels, offices and homes— we needed a space that brought all those typologies together in one place. A real environment where design is lived, tested and activated every day.

We were interested in making Spot feel nothing like a traditional office. We wanted it to evoke a store, a café or a restaurant —to be all of those things and none of them at the same time. In the end, these places share something essential: the way they welcome people. That is why we looked for a space with energy, rhythm and room for use. We didn’t want an exhibition setting or a showroom, but a real place where design is put into practice every day.

The tables are grouped close to one another, work areas blend with meeting areas, and the materials invite you to stay. We want the space to feel occupied, with the density of places where something is always happening. The proximity between seats and tables encourages exchange and keeps the conversation alive.

The interior combines walnut wood, natural stone, metal cladding, chukum and porcelain surfaces. The reflections of the metal, the artificial light and the projections amplify the space and transform its atmosphere. Each surface reacts to movement and constant activity, making the space shift throughout the day.
