Spot is a hybrid workspace conceived as an active, evolving environment. More than an office, it operates as a platform where work, culture and experimentation overlap. It responds to the need for spaces that adapt to different uses and activate relationships, processes and encounters. We understand space as an active agent, not a neutral container.

The project starts from a complex condition: a narrow, deeply elongated plan with a high level of structural and visual noise. Instead of fragmenting it, we introduce a single operation that organises everything. A central volume acts as a core, a piece within a piece that concentrates the programme and redefines the spatial logic. From that point on, the space is no longer read linearly, but as an open system capable of evolving over time.

This core absorbs the technical programme. Entrance, kitchen, storage, acoustic booths, bathroom and patio are integrated into one element. The perimeter is freed and becomes a continuous space, without fixed hierarchies. What happens around it is not predetermined. It supports individual work, shared tables, informal meetings, presentations and collective gatherings. The space does not impose use, it responds to it.

Spot also operates as a testing ground. A place where materials, details and systems can be experienced at full scale. What we design can be touched, walked through and understood in use.

Form follows this strategy. The central volume is clad in mirrored Homapal to reduce its visual weight and expand spatial perception. Reflections blur its boundaries, counterbalance the elongated proportions and introduce depth. This language extends to the ceiling, multiplying light and reinforcing continuity.

The material palette is precise and restrained. Walnut, natural stone, metal and mineral finishes create a balance between warmth and technical clarity. Fully adjustable lighting allows the space to adapt to different moments throughout the day.

Spot does not belong to a single category. There is something of retail in the way materials and systems are displayed. A residential quality appears in its scale and atmosphere. And a hospitality layer emerges in how it encourages interaction, conversation and shared use.

We prioritise durability, reuse and conscious material choices. We avoid unnecessary solutions and focus on long-term value. Beyond environmental considerations, the main impact is social and cultural.

The space is designed to be used, not observed. It only makes sense when it is active, when it is occupied, when it evolves. It becomes a node within the local creative ecosystem, where people, ideas and processes intersect, and where work expands into exchange, collaboration and cultural production.
